With 2022 behind us, it is incredible to look back at all the wild, exciting, and challenging moments across the year. For the MASQ team, it was the most memorable year since the project started, with many achievements to make the team and community proud.

Let’s recap the most notable milestones and consider what’s coming in 2023!

What is planned for 2023?

The MASQ core team remains incredibly focused on three main areas for the first half of 2023:

  • Expanding Software features — MASQ Premium features and MASQ Spaces (v2) User Experience enrichment

  • Web3 integrations, including dStorage and dMessage

  • Additional ecosystem partners, including expanding web3 dApp store library

With the imminent release of our newest MASQ Node core software upgrade and updated MASQ app under v0.5.0, the first look at further progress across these critical elements is immediately revealed to jump-start the 2023 year!

The MASQ ecosystem vision is expansive, with the ultimate goal of centering MASQ Network as a gateway for all internet users of web2 to enter the world of web3, regardless of their geographical location, while also evolving the mesh network technology itself to become more censorship-resistant so it continues to exist independantly of any person, entity or group. To achieve this vision, the ecosystem has to be supported by core concepts (pillars if you will) that will support this digital future, providing a truly decentralized experience for users:

- dWeb (MASQ protocol and browser software suite)
- dComms (decentralized messengers and wallet to wallet communication)
- dStorage (supported in-app by a critical partnership soon to be announced, and secured by IPFS protocol technology)
- dValue (*peer value transfer* by means of digital utility and ecosystem connections across trustless protocols secured by blockchain technology)

I am most excited to be able to guide our progress across these pillars, with a key one being in our sights for Q1 2023 announcement!
